Agartala, November 29: The BJP held an organizational meeting at its district office in Padmapur, Dharmanagar on Wednesday to discuss its strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The meeting focused on how to strengthen the party’s base and ensure its victory in the East Tripura reserved Lok Sabha seat in 2024.
The meeting was attended by BJP North District president Malina Debnath, North District Prabhari and BJP state vice-president Tapas Bhattacharya, Uttar Tripura Zilla Parishad’s Sabhadipati Bhabatosh Das and entire district and mandals’ karyakartas.
The meeting also paid homage to District BJP General Secretary Sumit De, who passed away recently. BJP leaders expressed their condolences to his family and assured them of their support. They also promised to provide them with all kinds of help for their well-being.
The meeting also deliberated on how to win the trust of the people in the northern district by highlighting the various schemes and initiatives of the central government through public relations campaigns.
