Agartala, July 2, 2023: The Contemporary Foundation for Art & Craft organized a sit-and-draw competition and annual prize giving ceremony at the premises of the Vivekananda Swardha Satabarshiki Bhavan, Dharmanagar on Sunday.
Assembly Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen inaugurated the programme in presence of Dharmanagar Municipal Council’s chairperson Pradyut De Sarkar, social worker Shyamal Nath and others.
Convener of the North Tripura district level programme Sourav Roy said that 800 students from 25 schools of the district have participated in this competition. The competition began at 9 AM and ended at 11 AM.
Speaker BB Sen encouraged the participants in the drawing competition through various talks and advised them to highlight the Dharmanagar’s name through their drawing.
People are appreciating the state government’s positive attitude and healthy environment for the way masses are coming forward in every field be it drawing competition or cultural competition or sports arena, he added.
