Agartala, December 01, 2022: A dead body of a 45 years old man was recovered from Laxmilunga tea garden area at 7 AM on Thursday.
It is reported that the local people went out for a morning walk and informed the airport police station after seeing the dead body. Airport Police Station OC Himadri Sarkar came to the spot.
The body lying on a pool of blood was recovered from Laxmilunga tea garden under Airport police station. After observation of the dead body and preliminary investigation, it is believed that the dead body was dumped at this place after being killed elsewhere.
The recovery of dead body created a tensed situation throughout the area.
It is learned that the deceased’s name is Swapan Das, aged approximately 45 years, living in Chandinamura area of the capital city’s suburbs. However, no information has been found that the dead body was dumped in this place after killing.
The police recovered the dead body and sent it to GB Hospital morgue for autopsy.
