Agartala, 30th March 2024: Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik urged the electorate to cast their votes for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the protection of future generations. The minister highlighted the various developmental projects initiated by PM Modi over the past nine years aimed at making every Indian family self-reliant and enhancing public welfare.
The Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a campaign designed to reach the country’s marginal towns, was launched to disseminate the benefits of the central government’s development projects. In a fervent appeal at the election rally in Dhanpur, Bhoumik underscored the Yatra’s objective to raise awareness about the Prime Minister’s schemes, such as the Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Mudra Loan, and Kisan Samman Nidhi, ensuring that these benefits reach the marginalized sectors of society.
The Union Minister also took the opportunity to contrast the BJP government’s leadership and policy-driven approach with the opposition’s alleged lack of direction. She pointed out the mobile IC vans, dubbed ‘Modi guarantee vehicles,’ which are instrumental in delivering government facilities directly to the villages.
Addressing the state’s infrastructure, Bhoumik stated that despite previous agitations, railway expansion in Tripura was stagnant under the CPM regime. However, she claimed significant progress following PM Modi’s assumption of office in 2016, with rail electrification in the northeastern states set to be completed by June this year. She also announced the anticipated arrival of the Bande Bharat Express to Tripura.
In her concluding remarks, Bhoumik reaffirmed her commitment to the people, reflecting on her dedicated service to the state and the party. She pledged to continue standing by the populace, just as she has in the past.
