Dr Saha listens PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, to embrace ‘Vocal for Local’ initiatives

 Agartala, October 29:  Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today appealed to the people of the state on Sunday to heed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives.

 After listening to PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, Dr. Saha highlighted the emphasis on prioritizing Swadeshi or local products over foreign goods.

 He also emphasized PM Modi’s call to use local materials for the upcoming Diwali celebrations.

 Dr. Saha listened to the 106th episode of Mann Ki Baat at Booth No. 9 of the 14 Badharghat Mandal, hosted at Dilip Saha’s residence in the Kalitila area of Bhattapukur.

 “We always eagerly await this day. In this Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat program, we hear about things that we cannot even imagine. The Prime Minister addressed various crucial issues in today’s episode. Through this program, we are able to learn about various issues from different parts of the country while sitting in Tripura. With various suggestions, the Mann Ki Baat show is becoming more enriching with each episode. As a result, positive changes are possible in society. The motivational and positive messages that the Prime Minister imparts to the countrymen in every episode help boost the enthusiasm of the people,” said Dr. Saha.

 The chief minister also noted that much can be learned from this Mann Ki Baat program. 

“The Prime Minister provided various examples of how India can be united through literary culture. He emphasized the concept of patriotism and also discussed the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,” Dr. Saha added.

 MLA Mina Rani Sarkar, Gomati Milk Union Chairman Ratan Ghosh, Mandal President, and other leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party were present in the program alongside the Chief Minister.
