Agartala, 15th March 2025: A fire erupted today in an abandoned area adjacent to the Horticulture Office in the Nagicherra locality near Amtali-Khayrpur bypass road under Amtali police station. Quick intervention by the firefighting team prevented a potentially catastrophic incident.
Eyewitnesses claim that the fire spread rapidly across the site. However, the swift arrival and efficient action of the firefighters ensured that the flames were brought under control, safeguarding the surrounding areas. “The fire could have caused significant damage if not for the prompt response of the fire brigade,” said a bystander.
While the exact extent of the damage remains unclear, officials have confirmed that no casualties were reported, and locals are safe. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, which has yet to be identified.
