Agartala, 15th March 2025: A disturbing incident took place at Vishwakarma SB School, where a teacher identified as Joymani Chakma allegedly assaulted a student. The injured student is currently receiving medical treatment at Gandacherra sub-divisional hospital.
The student’s father revealed that this was not the first instance of violence involving the teacher. He claimed that Joymani Chakma had previously assaulted his child and even alleged that the same teacher had been involved in the death of another student in the past.
The incident has sparked widespread tension in the area, prompting police to intervene. Authorities visited the school and searched for the injured student to gather more information. The student’s father confirmed that a formal case has been filed against the accused teacher.
