Agartala: February 22. The final exams for HS+2 and Madhyamik will start from March 15 and 16.

The number of candidates enrolled in secondary is 38,116 and the number of candidates enrolled HS+2 are 33,435. This year there are 5000 candidates less than last year in Madhyamik. On the other hand, the number of candidates for HS+2 exam is more.

“The main reason for the decline in the number of candidates in Madhyamik is that a large number of schools have upgraded from TBSC to CBSC. On the other hand, the main reason for the higher number of candidates in higher secondary is that these candidates passed their secondary in 2021. All were passed that year due to the Corona situation. So this year the number of candidates in HS+2 is more”, said the President of Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) Bhabatosh Saha today.

He said that the exam for HS+2 will start from March 15 and will conclude on April 19. “The major exams will be over by April 5. The secondary examination will start from March 16 and end on April 18. Their main exams will be over by March 28. This year the number of candidates in Madrasa Alim is 121. On the other hand, the number of candidates in Madrasah Fazil is 62. TBSE has made all kinds of preparations to conduct the examination”, said Saha.

He said the answer papers will be sent to all exam centers by next week. “The question paper will be sent one week before the examination. Admit card will be issued to the students from Tripura Board of Secondary Education office at Gurkhabasti from 23rd to 25th February. School officials will collect this admit card. There were 52 venues for HS+2 exams last years while this year there are 112 venue. There are 162 venues for the Madhyamik exams”, said Saha.
