Agartala, 30th August 2025: A special mega health camp was organized today at the Bhadrappalli Community Hall under the initiative of Bhadrappalli Agradoot Sangha with support from GEMS Hospital, Andhra Pradesh. The event aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to local residents, many of whom lack regular medical support.
The camp was inaugurated in the presence of Binoy Sinha, Vice Chairman of the Chandipur Panchayat Samiti, who attended as the chief guest. He was accompanied by Prabha Shuklabaidya, Pradhan of the Samrurpar Gram Panchayat; Subhranshu De, Upa-Pradhan; Sunil Majumdar, Secretary of Agradoot Sangha; and Prabhat Sinha, Principal of Bhadrappalli Higher Secondary School.
More than 300 individuals received medical consultations and services during the camp. Over 100 Ayushman Bharat cards were issued to eligible residents who had not previously enrolled in the scheme. Super-specialty doctors from Orthopedics, Neurology, and General Medicine departments provided treatment and expert advice.
Local residents praised the initiative, noting its vital role in delivering quality healthcare to underserved areas. Organizers emphasized the importance of such camps in bridging gaps in public health infrastructure and raising awareness about preventive care.
This collaborative effort marks a significant step toward improving healthcare access in the Chandipur constituency, especially for economically vulnerable populations.
