Paiturbazar Durga Puja Committee marks 75th year with blood donation drive

Agartala, 30th August 2025:   The Paiturbazar Durga Puja Committee has entered its 75th year commemorating the milestone with a series of community-focused initiatives including tree plantation and a blood donation camp.

The blood donation drive was held today at the committee’s office near the Paiturbazar motor stand. Kailashahar Municipal Council Vice Chairperson Nitish Dey inaugurated the camp, which saw enthusiastic participation from local residents. Among the attendees were Kailashahar Mandal President Pritam Ghosh and social worker Himangshu Dhar.

Speaking at the event, Nitish Dey praised the committee’s commitment to social welfare, stating, “True worship lies in standing beside the people. This blood donation camp is a testament to that spirit.” He expressed hope that such efforts from tree planting to blood donation would continue to play a constructive role in society.
