Road Rage Leaves Three Youths Injured on Bishalgarh-Boxanagar Road

Agartala: September 03. In a harrowing incident that unfolded on Sunday afternoon, three young individuals were left seriously injured following a head-on collision between two motorcycles.

The tragic incident occurred on the Bishalgarh-Boxanagar road, in close proximity to the Boxanagar Forest Department office.

The collision transpired when a motorcycle with the license plate TR-07G-5913 was traveling towards Boxanagar. Simultaneously, an unregistered Pulsar bike was approaching from the opposite direction. The two motorcycles collided head-on, resulting in a devastating impact that ejected the riders and drivers from their respective bikes.

The victims of this horrifying accident include the operators of both motorcycles and one additional passenger. Immediate responders, drawn by the loud noise of the collision, swiftly came to the aid of the injured parties. The injured victims were promptly rescued from the accident scene and transported to the Boxanagar Social Health Centre.

However, upon their arrival at the health center, the attending physician made the critical decision to refer the injured individuals to GB Hospital for further treatment, underscoring the gravity of their injuries.

Among those injured, Mujibur Rahman, a resident of the Nayanjala area of Boxanagar, sustained severe injuries to his face and head. The other two youths who suffered injuries in the collision have been identified as Sanjib Sarkar and Rakibul Hossain.

As news of the accident spread, officers from the Kalamchoura police station quickly mobilized to the scene. They subsequently recovered both motorcycles involved in the accident and transported them to the police station as part of their ongoing investigation.
