Agartala, 23rd May 2025: Concerns over the transparency and fairness of the TET 2024-25 examination resurfaced today as a group of aspiring teachers once again met with Tripura Teachers’ Recruitment Board (TRBT) Chairman Dr. Pratyush Ranjan Deb, demanding urgent redressal of alleged discrepancies in the evaluation process.
The candidates, who staged a protest in front of Siksha Bhavan, called for immediate corrective measures. Holding placards and chanting slogans, they urged the authorities to rectify errors in the question papers, highlighting the presence of incorrect and out-of-syllabus content.
“We demand justice for students affected by faulty questions. Additional marks must be granted to ensure a fair evaluation,” one protestor said.
Among their key demands were: awarding grace marks to those impacted by flawed questions, enforcing strict verification procedures to prevent such errors in future, and maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
The agitating aspirants stressed the need for transparency and fairness in teacher recruitment, insisting that such lapses could jeopardize the careers of deserving candidates.
“We are not just demanding marks—we are demanding accountability. The future of hundreds of aspiring teachers depends on this exam,” another candidate stated.
