Thieves raid CRPF jawan’s home, steal cash and gold ornaments

Agartala, 2nd November 2024:    In a brazen act of robbery, a group of thieves raided the home of a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan in the Bishalgarh railway station area making away with Rs 90,000 in cash and 12 pieces of gold ornaments. The incident took place in the absence of the homeowner and has stirred significant excitement in the entire area.

It is reported that none of the CRPF jawan’s family members were present at home during the raid. Residents discovered the broken door locks in the afternoon, prompting an immediate response from the family members, who rushed to the scene upon receiving the news. Overwhelmed by the situation, the family members reported the incident to the Bishalgarh police station.

“It was a shocking scene,” stated one of the family members, who burst into tears upon witnessing the aftermath of the robbery. The thieves managed to escape with the substantial amount of cash and valuable gold ornaments, leaving the neighborhood in a state of alarm and unrest.

The local authorities are investigating the incident, and the police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward. The community remains on high alert as the search for the culprits continues.
