Agartala, 26th August 2025: Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) has been conferred with a prestigious National Award by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), Government of India, in recognition of its outstanding performance in enrolling beneficiaries under the Atal Pension Yojana (APY) during the financial year 2024–25.
The award was formally received by Satyendra Singh, Chairman of TGB, at a ceremony that celebrated the bank’s unwavering commitment to financial inclusion and social security. TGB secured the second rank among all Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) nationwide, underscoring its pivotal role in promoting old-age income security through the government’s flagship pension scheme.
This marks the third consecutive year that Tripura Gramin Bank has ranked among the top three RRBs in APY performance, a testament to its consistent efforts in expanding the scheme’s reach across rural communities.
The achievement reflects the collective dedication of TGB’s branch officials, Business Correspondent (BC) agents, and support teams who have worked tirelessly to boost enrollments and enhance service delivery under APY.
With its continued success, TGB reinforces its position as a key driver of inclusive banking and social welfare in the region.
