Tripura Journalists Union provides financial assistance to late Journalist’s family

Agartala, 20th February 2025:    In a heartfelt gesture, the Tripura Journalists Union state committee led by Vice-President Jamal Uddin in collaboration with members of the Tripura Journalists Union Unakoti District Committee extended financial assistance to the family of the late journalist and former State Committee Vice-President Pintu Lal De.

The assistance was handed over to Pintu Lal De’s wife, Baby Saha Dey and is intended to support their daughter Rupa Dey, who is appearing for the secondary examination this year.

Md. Jamal Uddin, the Union’s Executive Committee Vice-President explained, “We have provided this financial assistance so that Rupa can focus on her studies, and also have the means to eat fruits, sweets, and buy necessary medicines.”

This act of kindness aims to alleviate some of the financial burden on the family and ensure that Rupa has the necessary resources to successfully complete her examinations.
