Agartala, 24th June 2025:  A wave of inspiration swept through the Press Club of India as a group of dynamic women entrepreneurs from Tripura took centre stage during the Asia Book of Records recognition ceremony for Positive Barta. The event became a showcase of resilience, as these women shared moving accounts of personal struggles and triumphs in their journey to financial independence.

These are not just individual success stories. Each voice echoed a deeper commitment to social development and gender empowerment.

Their stories highlighted how entrepreneurship had transformed not only their lives, but also rippled outward to empower families, uplift communities, and bolster the national economy. “When a woman becomes self-reliant,” said one participant, “it sparks a chain reaction poverty declines, education spreads, awareness grows, and the quality of life improves for everyone.”

Buoyed by their success, the women entrepreneurs from Tripura are preparing for another landmark moment. On September 6, they will return to Delhi to present their progress at a discussion on the “One Crore Trees in a Year” project, an ambitious green initiative led by Positive Barta. The session will be held at the Constitution Club of India and will focus on environmental stewardship through tree plantation and sustainable cluster formation.

With daily online meetings already underway, the group is meticulously preparing for their second appearance. Their energy is palpable. “We are not just preparing to speak; we are preparing to inspire,” said one entrepreneur involved in the preparations.

Their continued journey reflects a powerful narrative of empowerment, environmental consciousness, and the unyielding spirit of grassroots leadership.
