Agartala, 1st March 2025: In a tragic mishap, two brothers were gravely injured in a severe bike accident in front of Chelikhala School. Eyewitnesses described the incident as more like a flight than a bike ride, attributing the crash to the high speed at which the bike was being ridden.
It is reported that the rider Sabir Hossain and his cousin Yasin Mia were traveling from Boxanagar to Bishalgarh on a Pulsar bike without a number plate. They lost control and collided with an electric pole while conversing. The impact of the crash broke Sabir Hossain’s back while Yasin Mia suffered a severe leg fracture.
“The bike wasn’t just fast; it seemed to be flying,” recounted one eyewitness, highlighting the dangerous speed at which the vehicle was traveling. The injured brothers were immediately taken to Bishalgarh Subdivisional Hospital, where the attending doctor referred them to GBP Hospital in Agartala for further treatment.
The father of the injured pillion rider Rufel Amin and the father of the injured rider Tahidul Hossain, both residents of Kalamchoura, Adampur were notified of the accident.
Upon hearing about the incident, the Bishalgarh police rushed to the scene, recovered the damaged bike, and brought it to the police station.
