Agartala, December 18, 2022: A Trinamool Congress worker from North Tripura was seriously injured in a road accident on December 16 last while returning from a party function.
The worker was admitted to GB Hospital in Agartala. The Trinamool Congress worker was declared dead this morning.Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Pradesh Trinamool Congress President Pijush Kanti Biswas announced that Rs 1 lakh will be given to his family by the party.
In this context, Biswas said, “At the outset, we have a sad news, one of our workers died in a motor accident on his way home from party work.” “West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has decided to pay Rs 1 lakh to her family immediately and will bear the responsibility of the family later”, he added.
