Three-day workshop launched to enhance skills of Anganwadi Workers at Santirbazar

Agartala, 27th August 2025 :   A three-day training workshop aimed at enhancing the skills of Anganwadi workers under the Saksham Anganwadi Centre Scheme commenced today in Santirbazar. The initiative is part of the Poshan B2BY scheme, which focuses on improving service delivery to pregnant women and children.

The inaugural session saw the presence of key officials including Manoj Pal, Block Development Officer of Bogafa; Prabir Debbarma, District Inspector of Social Education; and Hiralal Debbarma, CDPO of the subdivision.

Speaking on the occasion, CDPO Hiralal Debbarma emphasized the importance of the training, noting that it is designed to equip Anganwadi workers with the necessary skills to provide effective and timely services to beneficiaries. “This workshop will focus on practical approaches to delivering nutritional and health-related support to pregnant women and young children,” he said.
