Agartala, 6th April 2026: Political activity in Tripura is intensifying ahead of the upcoming ADC elections. In a striking display of organizational strength, the Tipra Motha party today organized a massive bike rally in support of Utpal Debbarma, the party’s nominated candidate from the 11-Maharani Pur constituency.
The rally commenced from the Baramura Eco Park area near Teliamura, with Utpal Debbarma himself leading the procession alongside party workers and supporters. The convoy passed through key routes including Teliamura Bazaar, Chakmaghat, Mungiakami, and 43 Mile, drawing significant public attention along the way.
Prominent leaders such as Ranjit Debbarma, MLA from Ramchandra Ghat, and block president Mahendra Debbarma joined the event, adding weight to the show of support. Party workers, energized and enthusiastic, raised slogans projecting Utpal Debbarma’s victory.
The day also witnessed a notable political shift: four families comprising 16 voters formally left the BJP to join Tipra Motha. Party leaders welcomed the new members by handing over the party flag, interpreting the defection as a positive sign ahead of the polls.
Overall, the bike rally stood out as a powerful demonstration of Tipra Motha’s organizational strength and readiness for the electoral battle.
