Government Facilitates to send three patients victims of Ulta Rath Yatra to Delhi for further treatment: CM

Agartala, July 15: In a significant development, the Tripura Government led by Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, has made arrangements to send three patients currently undergoing treatment for injuries sustained during the Ulta Rath Yatra incident in Kumarghat, Unakoti District, to Delhi for further medical care.

During a press interaction, Chief Minister Dr. Saha expressed concern over the condition of the three patients, stating that they require specialized treatment.

“We are fortunate to have skilled plastic surgeons in Tripura who have done an exceptional job in treating these patients. Our doctors have held video conferences with their Doctors in Delhi, who have commended the efforts of our medical professionals. The patients and their families have expressed a desire to seek treatment in Delhi, and I have also assured them that we will facilitate this. We have made all necessary arrangements,” said Dr. Saha.

He further revealed that two of the patients will be flying to Delhi today, while the other patient will be send tomorrow.

The Chief Minister said that the other injured individuals are currently in stable condition and receiving adequate care.

The decision to transfer the patients to Delhi highlights the Tripura Government’s commitment to ensuring the best possible medical attention for those affected by the Ulta Rath Yatra incident.
