Sudden fire engulfs shop at Colonel Chowmuhani, causes significant loss

Agartala, 9th November 2024:   A sudden fire erupted from a car parked on the roadside, causing widespread panic in the Colonel Choumuhani area this morning. The blaze quickly spread, engulfing a nearby shop and causing significant damage. The fire brigade rushed to the scene after being alerted by local residents.

It is reported that, the driver had stopped the car in front of the shop to fix a sudden breakdown. Unexpectedly, the car caught fire, and within moments, the flames spread to the adjacent shop. Witnesses immediately informed the fire brigade, who managed to bring the fire under control after prolonged efforts.

Shop owner Deepak Chakraborty reported a loss of approximately two and a half lakh rupees due to the fire. “The sudden fire has caused immense damage to my shop. It is a devastating loss,” said Chakraborty.
