VP Jagdeep Dhankar felicitates BTVM student Ritesh Guha Roy for 1st rank

Agartala, 15th December 2024:  Ritesh Guha Roy, a student of Class 10 at Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir, Narsingarh, Agartala, has brought laurels to his school and the state by securing the First Position in the National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation, organized by the National Energy Conservation and Power Organization (NEPCO).

The prestigious event, held at the national level witnessed a vast number of students from across the country participating, with Ritesh’s artwork being selected as the best for its creativity and strong message on energy conservation.

The young artist was honored with a prize by the Vice President of India, who personally presented him with the following accolades: a Certificate of Merit, a Gold Medal, a laptop, and a cash prize of ₹1,00,000.

This win serves as a shining example of the talent and potential of students from Tripura and reinforces the importance of energy conservation in today’s world. Ritesh’s achievement not only highlights his artistic skills but also his commitment to promoting environmental sustainability.
