24 NGOs joins TIPRA Motha

Agartala Nov 18: In a major development for the regional party ahead of the 2023 assembly polls, at least 500 members from as many as 24 NGOs officially joined TIPRA Motha here on Friday.

The ruling party in the TTAADC has further strengthened ahead of the crucial polls, said TIPRA Motha Chairman Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhawl as he welcomed the new joinees amid a program at the Agartala Press Club here on Friday.

Around 500 voters led by Dr Narottam Debbarma and Sachindra Debbarma joined the TIPRA Motha by accepting party flags. Pradyot Kishore Deb Barma on earlier occasion had already announced of fighting the 2023 assembly polls and this major joining will definitely boost the party’s spirit, said political secretary of TIPRA Motha, Rajeshwar Debbarma.
