Agartala, June 29, 2023: In a significant development, a one-day seminar organized by IPFT North Amarpur Division in Ampi Nagar town hall witnessed the enrollment of 310 voters from 140 families who had previously been associated with CPIM & TIPRA Motha. The seminar, focused on the motto “Struggle for Tipraland,” brought together a gathering of indigenous people on Thursday.
Minister Shukla Charan Noatia and former MLA of the 41-Ampi assembly constituency, Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, jointly welcomed the new members into the IPFT organization. The aim of this move is to strengthen the organizational activities and ensure better management in the days ahead. To this end, the IPFT North Amarpur Division committee was reformed on Thursday, incorporating more efficient members.
Speaking at the event, Minister Shukla Charan Noatia emphasized that the IPFT organization is the genuine voice for indigenous people, fully dedicated to the interests of the TTAADC community. He noted that those who had previously left the IPFT organization are now returning, realizing that they had been heading in the wrong direction. Minister Noatia encouraged the new members to work sincerely for the organization’s mission and the better future of TTAADC’s indigenous families.
The seminar was attended by several dignitaries, including Habi Chandra Kalai, President of Manya Singh Jamatia, General Secretary of YIPFT, Amit Debbarma, Assistant General Secretary of IPFT, Jsuda Rani Jamatia, President of IWFT, Binoy Jamatia, and others. The event marked a significant step in bolstering the indigenous movement and its objectives.
