Car catches fire in Bairagi Bazar, no casualties reported

Agartala, 8th November 2023:    A Ford EcoSport car was completely burnt after a sudden fire broke out in the vehicle in Bairagi Bazar area of Sonamura on Tuesday night.

According to sources, four people, including the driver, were travelling from Bairagi Bazar to Agartala when they noticed flames coming out of the front of the car. They managed to escape from the car with their lives. The car, bearing the number TR07A0283, was engulfed in fire within minutes.

The incident was reported to the fire stations of Bishramganj and Melaghar. However, by the time the fire tenders reached the spot, the car was reduced to ashes. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

The incident of a moving car catching fire created panic in the Bairagi Bazar area. The police from Melaghar station arrived at the scene after getting the news.
