Agartala, July 29, 2023: A road accident took place at Nehal Chandranagar area of Bishalgarh where a bike collided with a goods vehicle, leaving three individuals wounded on Saturday.
The peaceful atmosphere of the Baikhora Bazar area was disrupted as the collision took place, causing concern among local residents. The bike involved in the accident bears the registration number TR-08E-5188.
Prompt action was taken by civil defense worker Ajay Nath and others, who quickly reached the scene and rescued the injured parties. They were rushed to the nearby Baikhora Primary Health Centre for immediate medical attention. Later, three of the injured, identified as Nandamoni Tripura, Debirani Tripura, and Rohit Tripura, were transferred to a hospital for further treatment.
The condition of Nandamoni Tripura was deemed critical, prompting authorities to refer her to the South Tripura District Hospital at Santirbazar for specialized care. Fortunately, the remaining two injured individuals were discharged from the hospital after receiving necessary medical care.
The accident site was near the residences of the injured individuals, situated in the Shibpur area of Bishalgarh. Authorities are investigating the incident to ascertain the cause of the collision and determine any possible negligence contributing to the accident.
