Deputy CM visits Krishna Sangha and Hafa Jia Mura bio-villages

Agartala, December 26, 2022: Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma on Monday afternoon visited Krishna Sangh and Hafa Jia Mura bio-villages under Charilam RD Block

Cheques of Rs 3 lakh 60 thousand was handed over to the beneficiaries today in the presence of 70 beneficiaries of Bio-Villages at the Krishna Sangh Vidyalaya grounds of Dakshina Charilam Gram Panchayat.

The bio-village of Krishna Sangh started in 2021 and today, cheques of Rs 3 lakh 60 thousand was handed over to 70 beneficiaries of Krishna Sangh village.

Apart from Deputy Chief Minister Dev Varma, Principal Secretary KS Shetty was present at the Bio-Village function at Krishna Sangh Vidyalaya Grounds, Charilam Block Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Rakhi Das Kar, Technology Department Officer Animesh Das and others were present.

On the other hand, 2 goats were handed over to 58 beneficiaries each through the Animal Resource Development department at the initiative of the Bio-Technology department in the Hafa Jia Mura school grounds. Various items including mushrooms are also given away.

Deputy Chief Minister present at the Hafa Jia Mura school grounds, along with village heads of North Charilam Village Panchayat, Animal Resource Development department of the Sepahijala district Deputy Officer Dr Ratul Gupta, Charilam ARD department officer Kalyan Roy, and others.
