Er. Paramananda Sarkar Banerjee appointed as Vice-President of IRCS, Tripura State Branch

Agartala, 1st March 2025 :  The Governor of Tripura, in his capacity as the President of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Tripura State Branch has appointed Er. Paramananda Sarkar Banerjee, B.E. (Electrical), as the Vice-President of the IRCS, Tripura State Branch.

The appointment is made under the provisions of Rule-11, Schedule-II-1(b) of the Indian Red Cross Society Branch Committee Rule 2017.

As per the official memorandum issued by the Governor’s Secretariat, Banerjee will serve a two-year term with immediate effect. The announcement was made through a notification signed by Ratan Bhowmik, Joint Secretary to the Hon’ble Governor of Tripura.

The memorandum has been communicated to key officials, including the Chief Secretary of Tripura, the Secretary General of the Indian Red Cross Society in New Delhi, and various government departments and IRCS district branches in the state.

Banerjee’s appointment is expected to strengthen the efforts of the IRCS in Tripura, contributing to humanitarian activities and social welfare initiatives across the state.
