Agartala, 11th March 2024: In a significant move towards inclusive development, the state government has reaffirmed its dedication to public welfare, ensuring that the benefits of various central and state government schemes reach the most impoverished segments of society. Embracing the ethos of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Biswas,’ the government aims to create a harmonious environment where every citizen can partake in the state’s progress.
The Tourism Minister, Sushanta Chowdhury, articulated this vision while addressing a gathering at the Gitanjali Hall in Ranirbazar, where a distribution ceremony for government projects was held. The event, spearheaded by the Ranirbazar Town Council, witnessed the handover of musical instruments to four deserving beneficiaries, loan approval letters amounting to Rs 50 thousand and 10 thousand to two street vendors, and chicken chicks along with rearing materials to a hundred individuals.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Vice-Chairperson of Ranirbazar Municipal Council, Prabir Kumar Das, Councilor Gautam Majumdar, and the social worker Gouranga Bhowmik, among others. This initiative underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to uplift and empower every stratum of society through meaningful engagement and support.
