Agartala, 5th August 2026: Tripura Gramin Bank has taken another step towards modernising its banking infrastructure and expanding customer-oriented services with the inauguration of its renovated Dhaleswar Branch and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Panna Motors, the authorised Citroën dealer under Stellantis Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd.
The newly renovated Dhaleswar Branch was inaugurated on Wednesday by Tanushri Bhattacharyya, General Manager, NABARD, Tripura Regional Office, in the presence of Tripura Gramin Bank Chairman Satyendra Singh.
The inauguration programme was attended by Senior Regional Manager, Regional Office West, Sujit Roy; Chief Manager (GSAD) Biki Ghosh; Senior Branch Manager of Dhaleswar Branch Mrinal Kanti Bhowmik; Senior Manager, Marketing Division, Jeet Bhattacharya; Marketing Officer Subhradeep Bhowmik and other bank officials and guests.
The upgraded branch has been designed to provide customers with a more convenient and technology-driven banking experience. It features modern IT-enabled systems, improved digital infrastructure and customer-friendly facilities aimed at ensuring quicker, safer and more efficient services.
On the same occasion, the bank signed an MoU with Panna Motors to extend additional benefits and customer-focused services to its customers and employees. The agreement was signed in the presence of Ravi Batra, India Head–Finance, Stellantis Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd., and Sutapa Roy of Panna Motors.

The developments reflect the bank’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its branch network, embrace digital technology and establish strategic partnerships.
