Agartala, October 16, 2023: Agartala finds itself ensnared in a web of insecurity and conflict as rival factions of contractors vie for control over the prestigious Smart City project. The latest flare-up saw contractor Nandan Sen working for Agartala Smart City project become the victim of a brutal assault in the heart of the city.
Sources sadi that Sen was tasked with overseeing road safety enhancements, alleged that he was targeted by miscreants led by Ashwini Dhanuk at Melarmath on Sunday late night. The altercation is believed to have roots in an internal dispute surrounding the allocation of responsibilities within the Smart City work. The assailants reportedly confronted Sen, leaving him with severe head injuries before he was rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. Expressing determination to pursue legal action, Sen intends to file a case at the local police station, shedding light on the escalating tensions gripping the city.
