times left an indelible mark, fostering a pervasive feeling of fear within the
minority community while observing their sacred rituals. It is worth noting that
such incidents have not been entirely absent during the Awami League’s rule; there
have been sporadic cases of vandalism on idols and temples over the last 15 years.
However, when compared to the prior BNP regime, these occurrences have been
relatively limited.
